The real estate market in Anthem, like the weather, is heating up . The number of homes actively on the market fell again. We saw prices decrease a bit in March, but still the burn rate is down to 2 months now, so based on that statistic we are entering a seller’s market in Anthem. Days on market increased a bit, but again, nothing to be alarmed about. If you or someone you know are considering purchasing a home in Anthem, now’s the time. Here are the lastest stats for the week ending 3/31/09: Active Listings: 229 Homes Pending: 145 Homes sold in last 30 days: 64 (Up 42% over Feb. ’09, up 12% over March. ’08) Burn rate (Inventory on market / by homes currently under contract) = 2 months supply Avg. Sale price (Solds): $228,756 (Down 3% from Feb. ’09, Down 27% from Mar. ’08) Avg. price per sq. ft. (Solds): $93.13 (Down $4.02 per Sq. Ft. from Feb. ’09, Down 28% from Mar. ’08) Avg.
