Anthem, AZ Real Estate – Market Report Serenity Villas April 2013

The Villas continued to perform strongly through April.  The lack of homes on the market continues to be the story.  Currently there’s only 1 home actively on the market, with 1 under contract, in the Villas. Prices continue to climb in the Villas.  Again, the 12 month moving average remains strong, showing a 17% increase in price for the Villas, in line with the overall Anthem real estate market.

With the run up in home prices over the past year more and more home owners are being pulled up from underwater on their mortgages.  Which means more home owners will be listing their homes.  Add to that the ramp up in new home construction and we’re going to see more supply on the market.  In turn prices will flatten out.  Now might be the best time to sell your home.  Here are the numbers for the Villas through April 2013:
