Homes are still selling at a rapid clip in the Anthem Parkside as we head into the summer months ahead. The total number of homes sold in the Parkside in May was similar to that of April. There are now 82 homes on the market in the Parkside at this time. A slight uptick from April, and the days on market increased slightly as well to 55. Prices continue to increase. In fact the 12 month moving average has increased by 18% versus 2012. Currently there are 118 homes under contract, in the Parkside.
With home builders ramping up production and more and more home owners gaining equity in their homes, we expect to see more homes coming on the market in the next 6 to 12 months. This additional inventory will begin to dampen the increase in home prices. If you’re thinking of selling, now may be the best time. Here are the numbers for the Parkside through May 2013:
