September was pretty much the same as August in the Anthem Parkside real estate market. The total number of homes sold in the Parkside in September remained the same as August, however prices continued their upward climb. There are now 144 homes on the market in the Parkside at this time, a 17% increase over August. And our “Burn Rate”, or the time it would take to sell the existing inventory at the current sales pace, has continued to edge up, now standing at a little over 3 months. The days on market have decreased to 65, and the 12 month moving average price is still well up, 17% versus 2012. Currently there are 68 homes under contract, in the Parkside. All of these numbers suggest an overall cooling in the Anthem Parkside real estate market and a move to a more balanced market, neither favoring buyers, nor sellers.
