Emma’s Run 2 – Anthem AZ

This past weekend, April 12th, was the second running of Emma’s Run, a fundraising 5k/10k fun run to benefit local family oriented charities.  Windermere Real Estate was a key contributor donating $1,000 and had several agents running in the race.  Another testament to both Anthem’s and Windermere’s giving spirit.  See more photos in the Pictures of Anthem section.

Windermere Real Estate presents check for $1,000 to Emma’s Run.

Windermere West Valley raises more money for Anthem, AZ

The Realtors in my office, Windermere West Valley, joined up Friday evening for our monthly “Game Night.”  All of the proceeds from Game Night go to benefit We Care of Anthem.  This past Friday we raised an additonal $230.  In addition to these funds each agent from our office has pledged $100 from each closed transaction to go to the Windermere Foundation.  The foundation will in turn distribute funds to the local community and various charities in the area.

Just another testament to Windermere Real Estate and it’s kind hearted agents.

Anthem residents support local family…

A few years ago a very tragic event occurred here in Anthem Arizona (the community in which I live).  A father while innocently backing out of his driveway did not see his 6 year old daughter behind the car.  Poor Emma was killed.

Over the past three years since, the residents of Anthem have rallied around the family to offer both emotional and financial aid to the grief stricken parents.  The folks at We Care of Anthem have coordinated a 5k/10k fundraising event for Emma’s family.  This year marks the third annual Emma’s run.  My real esatate company, Windermere Real Estate is one of the main sponsors of this year’s event.  Last weekend our office conducted a fundraising event at Anthem Days whereby we raised $950 to be donated to Emma’s run.  The run is scheduled for April 12th.

This event exemplifies why I love the community of Anthem as much as I do.  My business partner, Ben Bailey, and I will be running in the race as well.  We’ll post some pictures.
