Anthem AZ Market Report December 2013 – Country Club

Happy New Year!!!  2013 was quite a year for the Anthem Country Club real estate market.  And December finished it with a bang. The Country Club continued with a steady number of sales, and the number of homes actively on the market decreased a bit, now standing at 79.  In turn, the burn rate (the time it would take to sell the existing inventory) also increased to 6 ½ months.  The highest level we’ve seen in quite a while.  The average sale price increased for the month, as did the average price per square foot.  The twelve month moving average is 8% above the same period last year, so the year over year increases are starting to return to a more historical rate. Days on market decreased, which is a good sign heading into the new year.

Now here are the numbers for the Country Club through December 2013:
